Bet365 Mobile Apps
The gaming world has experienced a revolution in mobile gaming; this is why Bet365 has developed apps that work across different types of mobile operating systems. I decided to review both in terms of number of products available and user experience.
I started by the standard sign-up on the main website, accessible by typing mobile.bet365.com on the address bar. I selected my country of residence, entered my full names and date of birth.. The next step required me to enter a valid physical address; this step was verified. After entering the email and contact details, I could select my username.
The Android App
My first experience with Bet365 mobile was on the Android app. I found it super user-friendly, both in terms of design and quality of the user interface. The app is decent and easy to navigate. The log in button is located at the top of the application and this saves a lot of time especially when I’m betting in-play and I need to place a new bet as quick as possible. The app also allowed me to save my login credentials so I don’t have to enter my details every time.
The iOs App
Next : the iOs app on an iPhone. The registration options seemed identical from the Android app. After launching the app, iOS users are requested to enter their login credentials.
Windows, Blackberry and other Devices
Let’s not forget those other devices ! Unfortunately, there’s no official app for them. But I could test the browser version of the website on these devices without any problems : the mobile version is very close to the mobile app. And icing on the cake : it doesn’t take any space in your app store !
Apps and Mobile Site Walk-through
Apart from the log-in option, the top of the app also holds the following options; in-play, sports, home, and the join option. The default sports that are displayed on the homepage are soccer, horse racing, tennis and basketball. I could actually customize and change the sports appearing on the homepage as I wished. By scrolling down the main window, I could see all the current in-play games; clicking on each game or event allowed me to view more details.
The ‘Offers” option is located further downwards and it has all the bonuses and offers that are currently available. Below the offers section, I could at last find the games I wanted like Casino and Poker.
NB : these games may require a different download because they seem not to be all integrated on the same app.
I found all the functions of the android and iOS apps well-defined and explained, making this app beginner-friendly. I found a way of disabling the notifications which can really help you not to be crawling under them. The apps have green, yellow and white colors, the trademark colors of this betting company. I found the colors incredible to look at especially on high-resolution.
The texts on the mobile apps are large enough so that I could read the content even on small resolution displays but this also means that there is less information on the display. The advantage is that the app is responsive enough and users will experience no lag when scrolling. Making a deposit was easy for me, I just had to click on my username on the top of the display and then choose deposit. The payment methods option presented me the deposit methods that were available for me.
The apps contain deposit and cash out options for users in different parts of the world. Placing a bet is easy on the apps and mobile site version, I just clicked on the event that that I wished to wager on and input my preferred bet. This selection was transferred to my bet slip at the bottom of the screen. I also saw there were access to live streaming options on several of my favorite sports, which I was able to view as I had placed a bet in the previous 24 hours. Alternatively, you can still view live streaming if you have funds in your betting account. I read that access to the streaming service may depend on where you are located, so be sure to check this if you also want to watch.
